Job Summary: Provide a brief description of the job:

The role of the Production Operator includes, but is not limited to, all phases of batch processing and packaging. This includes all manual charges and sampling of reactors and blend tanks. Production Operators will perform all required SAP functions in a timely manner. This individual must possess good interpersonal, communications, problem solving, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills. Have a firm commitment to safety, the environment and must have the understanding that product quality is critical to our customers. Operators will maintain all required SOP’s, regulatory training and abide by all Federal, State and local agencies regulations. Operators must have a “Right the first time” attitude to reduce hazardous waste, off-spec material and unnecessary costs. |
Duties and Responsibilities:
- List in order of importance the duties and responsibilities of the job. Identify what is done and how it is done.
- Indicate the percent of time spent weekly on each responsibility. Do not include responsibilities that require less than 5% of time.

Production Processing: Staging & charging materials, making adjustments, pulling samples, packaging, “Right-the-first-time” production, ISO compliance for all product made and packaged, COMMUNICATE proactively |

Development – competency training, review SOPs, continuous improvement in safety / housekeeping |

Reduce costs – eliminate production variances, maintain accurate RM and FG inventories, unscheduled OT, waste minimization |
