Job Objective:

  We are looking for a staff accountant to join our accounting department. The staff accountant will assist in maintaining and managing the general accounting and financial processes of our company. The purpose of this document is to outline the job responsibilities of the Staff Accountant for Polynt Composites USA, Inc.

Primary Accountabilities include:

• Maintain and analyze general ledger.
• Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and reconciling accounts.
• Knowledge and experience in accrual accounting: prepaid, commissions and other current liabilities – non automated transactions.
• Knowledge and experience with intercompany reconciliations.
• Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Supports various audit processes.
• Assist in tax requests and filings, as needed.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and assist in projects.

• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results on a timely basis.

Requirements:

• Accounting or Finance Degree
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience
• SAP experience required
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• CPA a plus
• International experience a plus
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Deadline oriented
• Time Management
