Financial Controller
We are looking for a position where you can grow as a Financial and Plant Controller in a global environment?
Polynt Group is a global leader in the development and production of composite materials, recognized for its commitment to sustainability and innovation. We are now seeking a Financial and Plant Controller who is ready to take on new challenges at Polynt Composites Norway.
You will play a key role in our company, with overall responsibility for finance and accounting. You will work alongside skilled colleagues in Fredrikstad, forming our accounting and finance department together. In addition, you will collaborate across business units and work closely with our department managers.
The position is naturally part of the Norwegian management team, and you will report both to the Plant Manager and the Group CFO.
Key Responsibilities
- Controlling: Monitoring KPIs and costs at Polynt Composites Norway
- Monitoring material costs at Polynt Composites Norway
- Following up on energy costs and contributing to energy management initiatives
- Payroll administration
- Responsibility for monthly closing procedures in SAP
- Reporting to the Plant Manager, the management team in Fredrikstad, and Group Management
- Forecasting, primarily focused on costs and cash flow
- Establishing and monitoring capital investments and fixed assets
- Overall responsibility for preparing the annual budget
- Year-end closing activities
- Cooperating with external auditors for annual audits and other audits as required
- Reviewing and approving outgoing payments
- Preparation and Filing of Statutory Accounts
- VAT – check, compering and reporting
Qualifications and Personal Attributes
We are looking for someone who is analytical and structured, thrives on responsibility, and has strong prioritization skills. You enjoy working with numbers, but also with people, and can communicate effectively in both Norwegian and English.
You have relevant professional experience, preferably from an international company. Experience with SAP and knowledge of IFRS/NGAAP would be an advantage, but are not absolute requirements.

Salary range: starting from 850.000 NOK
